JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Di tengah larangan mudik dan pengetatan beberapa ruas jalan, Ketua Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Penanganan Covid-19 Letjen TNI Doni Monardo mengajak masyarakat berlebaran dengan cara virtual untuk memeriahkan Hari Raya Idul 1442 Hijriah/2021.
Menurut Doni, hal ini salah satu solusi dalam mengatasi kerinduan terhadap keluarga yang tidak bisa tidak mudik dalam melakukan silaturahim secara virtual.
Dalam siaran pers yang disampaikan Komite Penanganan Covid-19 dan Pemulihan Ekonomi (KPC PEN), Selasa (27/4), Doni mengimbau seluruh posko yang ada di daerah dapat membantu warga dalam melakukan komunikasi virtual sebagai pengganti silaturahim secara langsung.
Hal itu tersebut dilakukan bagi warga yang memiliki keterbatasan alat maupun kondisi lain yang dapat menghambat silaturahim melalui komunikasi virtual. “Mohon berkenan, posko-posko yang ada di tiap daerah, bisa memberikan kesempatan kepada keluarga yang mungkin belum memiliki fasilitas untuk berkomunikasi secara virtual, untuk bisa difasilitasi,” kata Doni.
Doni mengatakan Ramadhan dan Idul Fitri di tengah pandemi Covid-19 menjadi momentum yang harus disadari masyarakat di Tanah Air untuk tidak mudik, karena dapat memicu terjadinya penularan virus SARS-CoV-2 penyebab Covid-19. “Harus kita sadari tahun ini pun mohon tidak mudik dulu. Harus bersabar, harus bisa menahan diri,” kata Doni.
Pembatasan mobilitas penduduk yang diberlakukan pemerintah, kata Doni, semata-mata untuk melindungi segenap masyarakat dari ancaman Covid-19.
“Ini semuanya untuk kepentingan bersama. Kita harus bisa menyelamatkan diri kita, menyelamatkan keluarga kita, dan menyelamatkan bangsa kita,” kata Doni.
Doni menjelaskan bahwa berdasarkan data Satgas Penanganan Covid-19, momentum libur hari raya nasional dan keagamaan selalu diikuti oleh tren kenaikan kasus Covid-19 di Tanah Air.
Selain angka kasus aktif, peningkatan Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) di setiap rumah sakit juga terjadi peningkatan usai liburan. Selain itu, angka kematian juga selalu naik usai liburan. Bahkan, angka kematian tenaga medis dan dokter serta perawat cenderung naik.
“Sudah terbukti, setiap libur panjang akan diakhiri dengan peningkatan kasus, diikuti dengan jumlah pasien di rumah sakit yang meningkat, diikuti dengan angka kematian yang tinggi, termasuk gugurnya para dokter, serta tenaga kesehatan lainnya,” kata Doni.
