“Strategi ini harus dikembangkan dengan baik karena itu bisa menambah pendapatan dan menetralisir tekanan-tekanan terhadap suatu usaha, termasuk di sektor penerbangan,” kata Menhub dalam kegiatan Webinar yang diselenggarakan oleh Indonesia National Air Carriers Association (INACA)/Asosiasi Perusahaan Penerbangan Nasional Indonesia dan Universitas Padjajaran bertema “Proyeksi Pemulihan Sektor Penerbangan Menuju Normal Baru, Kamis (15/4).

Menhub juga mendorong kolaborasi yang baik antara para maskapai dengan organisasi penerbangan dunia seperti International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) dan International Air Transport Association (IATA), dengan memfokuskan kerjasama pada pengembangan protokol kesehatan seperti; jaga jarak, pemeriksaan kesehatan, layanan touchless, penyemprotan disinfektan, dan lain sebagainya agar semakin meningkatkan kepercayaan diri masyarakat untuk bepergian menggunakan pesawat di tengah pandemi.

Menhub menjelaskan, upaya lain yang dapat dilakukan untuk bertahan di tengah pandemi ini yaitu dengan mengoptimalkan slot time penerbangan, serta mengaktifkan kembali rute-rute domestik yang sempat tidak beroperasi.

Menhub mengungkapkan, dalam upaya memulihkan bisnis penerbangan di tengah pandemi, saat ini pemerintah tengah melakukan proses vaksinasi nasional untuk para petugas transportasi, termasuk di sektor penerbangan seperti para pilot, pramugari/a, petugas ground handling, petugas maksapai, petugas Bandara, dan lain-lain. Hal itu dilakukan untuk mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19 di sektor transportasi yang kerap kali bersentuhan melayani langsung ke masyarakat.

“Meskipun saat ini pemerintah tengah melakukan proses vaksinasi nasional, namun saya minta penerapan prosedur protokol kesehatan mulai dari keberangkatan, pada saat perjalanan, dan saat tiba di kedatangan tetap dilakukan untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19,” kata Menhub Budi.

Sementara itu, Ketua Umum INACA Denon Prawiraatmadja menyampaikan, sejak pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia pada awal Maret 2020, jumlah penumpang penerbangan nasional mengalami penurunan sekitar 70 persen untuk domestik dan 60 persen untuk internasional. Kemudian, jumlah kegiatan kargo logistik juga mengalami penurunan dari dari 1,1 juta ton menjadi 429 ribu ton.

Denon menyepakati apa yang disampaikan Menhub bahwa kolaborasi yang baik antar stakeholder penerbangan diharapkan dapat menggeliatkan Kembali dunia penerbangan nasional Tanah Air.

Ia mengungkapkan, pihaknya telah melakukan sejumlah forum diskusi (FGD) dengan para pemangku kepentingan seperti: Kemenkes, BNPB, dan sejumlah pemangku kepentingan di sektor penerbangan.
