“Tahun internasional ekonomi kreatif untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan 2021, adalah momentum yang tepat untuk melaksanakan pemulihan global. Ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memusatkan kembali sektor ekonomi kreatif, sebagai kontributor penting bagi ekonomi global,” ujar Menparekraf Sandiaga saat memberikan _keynote speech_, dalam acara “International Year of Creative Economy 2021 (IYoCE 2021)” bertajuk “Creative Economy for Inclusive Development and Global Recovery”, Senin (25/1).
IYoCE 2021 merupakan inisiasi pemerintah Indonesia bersama PBB (Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa) dan komunitas internasional, yang menekankan peran penting ekonomi kreatif dalam mendorong tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan serta pentingnya kolaborasi atau kerja sama internasional, agar pembangunan ekonomi kreatif dapat tumbuh lebih cepat.
Menparekraf mengatakan, dalam melakukan pemulihan ekonomi kreatif secara global di masa pandemi, diperlukan kecermatan dan ketelitian untuk mengubah sebuah tantangan menjadi peluang.
Berdasarkan data yang dihimpun dalam Opus Creative Economy Outlook tahun 2019, sektor ekonomi kreatif memberikan kontribusi sebesar Rp 1.105 triliun terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) Indonesia. Hal ini menjadikan Indonesia berada di urutan ketiga setelah Amerika Serikat dan Korea Selatan, dalam jumlah kontribusi sektor ekonomi kreatif terhadap PDB negara.
Dari 17 subsektor ekonomi kreatif, tiga di antaranya menjadi penyumbang terbesar PDB dan ekspor. Merujuk pada data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), kontribusi masing-masing subsektor itu adalah 41 persen untuk kuliner, fesyen sebesar 17 persen dan kriya sebesar 14,9 persen.
Selain itu, di tahun 2019 sektor ekonomi kreatif juga menyerap sekitar 17 juta tenaga kerja. Dari data tersebut, menunjukkan bawah Indonesia memiliki potensi yang besar dalam bisnis ekonomi kreatif.
“Untuk itu, tahun 2021 memungkinkan kita merumuskan kebijakan yang lebih baik daripada sebelumnya, program insentif yang lebih baik, sehingga dapat membuka kembali lapangan kerja. Mengingat sektor ini memiliki potensi untuk menyerap banyak tenaga kerja,” kata Sandiaga.
Menparekraf mengimbau seluruh pihak yang terlibat di sektor ekonomi kreatif, mulai dari pemerintah, masyarakat, swasta hingga asosiasi agar berkolaborasi dalam memanfaatkan kekuatan ekonomi kreatif agar tujuan agenda pembangunan berkelanjutan dapat tercapai.
“Semua orang harus memiliki andil dalam membantu menggeliatkan kembali industri ekonomi kreatif di Indonesia bahkan global,” ujar Sandiaga.
Menparekraf percaya dengan rasa kebersamaan akan memicu solidaritas dan realisasi global. “Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi dan memecahkan masalah global ini adalah bekerja sebagai satu, yakni perkuat kolaborasi,” ujarnya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Wakil Menteri Luar Negeri, Mahendra Siregar mengatakan, 2021 adalah tahun yang penuh harapan. Tahun dimana seluruh pihak harus bergerak cepat dan berkolaborasi. Tahun untuk membuktikan bahwa masyarakat secara global mampu melewati masa pandemi.
“Pandemi ini menghantam sektor ekonomi kreatif dengan sangat keras. Namun, saya percaya bahwa dibalik sebuah tantangan, selalu ada kesempatan. Banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan oleh pelaku usaha di sektor ekonomi kreatif ini, seperti memanfaatkan ekosistem digital yang saat ini berkembang sangat pesat,” ujar Wamenlu Mahendra.
