Desiana Syafitri, Mahasiswa UBSI Raih Juara 2 World Sambo Championship 2020

JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Mewakili Indonesia, Desiana Syafitri, mahasiswa kampus Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Karawang berhasil meraih juara ke 2 dalam ajang World Sambo Championship 2020, pada 3 – 6 Nopember 2020 di Novi Sad, Serbia.

Desi, sapaan akrabnya, mahasiswa semester I Program Studi Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (Prodi SIA) berhasil meraih Juara 2 Sambo Putri di kelas 48 kg. Desi berhasil masuk ke final setelah mengalahkan lawannya dari delegasi negara Ukraina dengan skor yang sangat memuaskan.

Namun, di final Desi harus mengakui keunggulan delegasi dari Uzbekistan. Walaupun seperti itu Desi tetap bersyukur dan bangga atas prestasi yang telah diraih di kanca internasional. Apalagi bisa mengibarkan bendera Merah Putih di tingkat dunia.

Prestasi yang diraih oleh Desi sangat membanggakan sekali karena bisa mewakili Indonesia.  Selain membanggakan Indonesia Desi telah membuktikan sebagai mahasiswa kampus UBSI Karawang yang berprestasi di tingkat dunia.

Prestasi yang diperoleh tentunya sangat memotivasi mahasiswa yang lainnya untuk bisa meraih prestasi selama proses kuliah di kampus UBSI.

Perjuangan Desi menjadi seorang atlet Internasional tidak luput dari dukungan berbagai pihak salah satunya dari Arnold Silalahi sebagai pelatih yang telah mendidiknya menjadi seorang Atlet Profesional ditingkat Internasional.

“Saya merasa bangga dengan capain yang diperoleh oleh desi pada kejuaran World Sambo Championship 2020 dengan posisi juara 2, mudah-mudahan tahun depan bisa Kembali membawa medali dengan perolehan yang lebih membanggakan,” ungkap Arnold.
