“Pertumbuhan penumpang di awal tahun ini menjadi sinyal baik bagi perusahaan. Hal ini sekaligus meneruskan catatan positif yang terjadi sepanjang tahun 2023, untuk kemudian dilanjutkan di tahun 2024 ini,” ujar Direktur Utama AP I MMA Indah Preastuty di Jakarta, Jumat,(9/2).
Pertumbuhan juga turut terjadi pada angka pergerakan kargo selama Januari 2024 yaitu sebanyak 44.738 ton kargo, tumbuh sebesar 19% dibanding trafik kargo Januari 2023 yang mencapai 37.530 ton.
Sedangkan jumlah pergerakan pesawat sebanyak 46.597 pergerakan, turun 7% dibandingkan periode Januari 2023 sebanyak 50.075 pergerakan.
Indah Preastuty optimistis, kinerja operasional khususnya angka trafik di 15 Bandara AP I di tahun 2024 akan mengalami pertumbuhan dibandingkan tahun 2023.
Dari total jumlah pergerakan penumpang pada Januari 2024, Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali melayani jumlah pergerakan tertinggi, yakni 1,8 juta pergerakan penumpang. Bandara Juanda Surabaya menduduki urutan ke dua dengan 1 juta pergerakan penumpang, disusul Bandara Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar dengan 775 ribu pergerakan penumpang.
Untuk pergerakan pesawat udara Januari 2024, Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai melayani 12.045 pergerakan pesawat, Bandara Juanda Surabaya dengan 7.784 pergerakan pesawat, dan Bandara Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar dengan 6.208 pergerakan pesawat.
Sedangkan untuk trafik kargo, urutan pertama Bandara Sentani Jayapura dengan 13.099 ton kargo, disusul Bandara Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar dengan 7.563 ton kargo, dan Bandara Juanda Surabaya dengan 6.258 ton kargo.
