JAKARTA,AKSI KATA.COM Pertumbuhan rute penerbangan di Bandara Soekarno-Hatta (Tangerang) dan Bandara Kualanamu (Deli Serdang) semakin kuat di tengah periode pemulihan pasca pandemi Covid -19.
Ke dua Bandara hub (pengumpul penerbangan) tersebut terus membuka rute penerbangan baru, mengaktifkan kembali rute yang sempat ditutup saat pandemi, dan menambah frekwensi penerbangan di rute eksisting.
Terbaru, pada awal Agustus 2023, ke dua Bandara membuka rute-rute internasional.
Bandara Soekarno-Hatta membuka rute Jakarta – Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) yang dilayani oleh maskapai Vietjet Air mulai 5 Agustus 2023. Lalu, pada 7 Agustus 2023 dibuka rute Jakarta – Mumbai (India) oleh IndiGo.
Kemudian di Bandara Kualanamu dibuka rute Medan – Chennai (India) mulai 11 Agustus 2023 oleh Batik Air. Selain itu, pada bulan mendatang juga akan hadir rute Medan dari dan ke salah satu kota di India oleh IndiGo.
President Director PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin mengatakan dibukanya sejumlah rute internasional itu sebagai upaya perseroan memperkuat konektivitas (Connectivity) di kedua bandara.
“Bandara Soekarno-Hatta dan Bandara Kualanamu sebagai hub memiliki jaringan penerbangan yang lebih luas dari Bandara-bandara lainnya. Penumpang pesawat dapat terbang ke Bandara Soekarno-Hatta atau Bandara Kualanamu untuk transit dan melanjutkan perjalanan ke destinasi selanjutnya. Sejalan dengan hal ini, kedua Bandara tersebut memiliki peran penting untuk turut memberikan dampak positif bagi bandara-bandara lainnya, dan menjadi motor pemulihan penerbangan,” ujar Muhammad Awaluddin di Jakarta,Rabu,(9/8).
Pembukaan rute internasional ini menurut Muhammad Awaluddin, semakin memperkuat Bandara Soekarno-Hatta dan Bandara Kualanamu sebagai hub, yang menghubungkan pebisnis dan wisatawan dari luar negeri ke banyak destinasi domestik
Muhammad Awaluddin menuturkan, peningkatan konektivitas internasional juga sebagai upaya AP II mengoptimalkan alat produksi yakni slot time penerbangan (waktu keberangkatan dan kedatangan pesawat di Bandara) guna meningkatkan aspek niaga (commerce).
“Di dalam periode pemulihan penerbangan saat ini, permintaan perjalanan di rute domestik dan internasional meningkat. AP II bersama stakeholder berupaya untuk mengelola dan mengakomodir tingginya permintaan untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi masyarakat dan memperhatikan aspek Commerce,” ujar Muhammad Awaluddin.
Selepas pandemi Covid-19, kontribusi jumlah penumpang internasional meningkat menjadi 24% dibandingkan saat pandemi masih berlangsung tahun lalu sebesar 22%.
“Saat ini komposisi penumpang pesawat di bandara AP II secara kumulatif adalah penumpang domestik mencapai 76% dan penumpang internasional 24%. Pada tahun lalu saat masih pandemi, komposisinya adalah penumpang domestik 78% dan penumpang internasional 22%,” ujar Muhammad Awaluddin.
Guna menjaga momentum positif ini, AP II terus mengedepankan kolaborasi (collaboration) dengan seluruh stakeholder.
“Collaboration merupakan aspek penting, karena AP II tidak bisa sendiri dalam melakukan pemulihan penerbangan. Seluruh stakeholder di bandara AP II harus berkolaborasi agar dapat kembali lagi berada di kondisi seperti sebelum pandemi Covid-19,” jelas Muhammad Awaluddin.
Kolaborasi yang telah dijalankan AP II dan stakeholder berjalan dengan baik, di mana jumlah pergerakan penumpang di seluruh bandara AP II secara kumulatif pada Semester I/2023 mencapai 38 juta penumpang atau mencerminkan tingkat pemulihan (recovery rate) hingga 85% dari Semester I/2019 saat belum ada pandemi. Recovery rate ini lebih tinggi dibandingkan prediksi IATA dan ACI.
Melalui kuatnya implementasi Connectivity, Commerce dan Collaboration (3C), pemulihan penerbangan di Bandara-bandara AP II dapat diakselerasi.
