JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Sehari jelang Pemilu, Ketua DPR RI Bambang Soesatyo menyempatkan diri berziarah ke makam ayah kandungnya, S.E. Prijono serta kakek neneknya, di pemakaman Joyokusomo, Dukuh Margosari, Kabupaten Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Selasa (16/04/19). Ditemani keluarga besarnya, selain mendoakan almarhum ayahanda dan leluhur, Bamsoet -demikian karib dia disapa-,juga berdoa agar dalam menghadapi Pemilu 2019 ini, bangsa Indonesia tidak terpecah belah. Tetap guyub dan rukun.
“Almarhum ayah meninggal pada 6 Januari 1977. Saat saya beranjak dewasa memasuki usia 15 tahun. Walau tidak terlalu lama mengenal ayah, namun beliau sangat berjasa dalam pembentukan karakter diri saya. Sebagai seorang tentara, ayah menanamkan sikap pantang mundur, jujur, disiplin, tanggung jawab dan kerja keras. Nilai-nilai itulah yang selalu saya pegang hingga kini,” ujar Bamsoet usai berziarah ke makam almarhum ayahandanya.
Bagi Legislator Dapil VII Jawa Tengah yang meliputi Kabupaten Purbalingga, Banjarnegara dan Kebumen ini, melakukan ziarah selain untuk mendoakan orang yang sudah mendahului, juga bisa menjadi pengingat diri bahwa kelak semua yang hidup pasti akan menghadapi kematian. Harta dan keluarga, segala hal yang bersifat materi akan ditinggalkan. Hanya amalan baik yang menyertai saat menghadap Tuhan Maha Esa.
“Mengingat datangnya kematian bukanlah hal yang tabu. Justru harus terus menerus ditanamkan. Hidup di dunia hanyalah persinggahan, sebelum kelak kita semua akan abadi di akhirat nanti. Dengan mengingat kematian, kita akan menyadari untuk tidak membuat kerusakan di dunia. Melainkan sibuk menebar kebajikan dan kemaslahatan,” tutur Bamsoet.
Atas dasar hal itulah, Kepala Badan Bela Negara FKPPI ini mengajak para elite politik tidak perlu terlalu ngotot dan menghalalkan segala cara untuk memenangi Pemilu 2019. Kekuasaan sejatinya adalah amanah dan tanggung jawab, bukan sebuah kebanggaan yang harus dipamerkan apalagi didapat dengan mengorbankan rakyat.
“Besok bangsa Indonesia menghadapi Pemilu 2019 untuk memilih presiden dan angggota legislatif dari tingkat Kabupaten, Kota, Provinsi, hingga nasional (DPR RI) serta DPD RI. Bagi kandidat yang maju dalam pemilihan, setelah di masa kampanye telah melakukan berbagai ikhtiar, kini berikan kesempatan kepada rakyat untuk menilai dan menjatuhkan pilihan,” urai Bamsoet.
Lebih jauh Wakil Ketua Umum Pemuda Pancasila ini menambahkan, terpilih ataupun tidak, kandidat yang maju dalam Pemilu 2019 harus bersikap legowo. Karena semua sudah ditentukan oleh guratan takdir masing-masing.
“Bagi yang tidak terpilih, bukan berarti kiamat. Tak perlu berkecil hati, karena perjuangan membangun bangsa dan negara bisa dilakukan dari semua aspek kehidupan. Lagi pula, masih ada kesempatan lima tahun mendatang untuk bertarung kembali,” pungkas Bamsoet. (HOLANG)
