Rugi Rp 50 Miliar, Gudang JNE Kebakaran, Hanguskan 200 Ribu Produk Eiger

JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Kebakaran gudang JNE di Jalan Pekapuran, Curug, Cimanggis, Kota Depok menyebabkan tidak kurang dari 200 ribu produk Eiger hangus.

GM ECommerce Eiger Adventure Jason Wuysang mengaku mendapat informasi kebakaran pukul 05.00 WIB, di mana gudang tersebut menyimpan produk-produk Eiger.

“Dampak dari kejadian ini, kurang lebih 200.000 pisces produk Eiger habis terbakar yang menyebabkan ribuan pesanan yang datang hampir seluruhnya dari platform Shopee dan TikTok, sebagian dari eigeradventure.com, sebagian dari Lazada dan Bukalapak dengan berat hati harus kami batalkan,” kata Jason dalam keterangannya kepada wartawan, Senin (12/9/2022).

Pengembalian dana yang sudah dibayarkan oleh konsumen akan secara otomatis diproses oleh sistem di setiap platformnya.

Secara perkiraan, total kerugian materi sampai Rp50 miliar.

“Namun kerugian yang lebih besar bagi kami adalah untuk saat ini kami belum bisa melanjutkan pesanan Eigerian setidaknya sampai kurang lebih 7 hari ke depan, khususnya yang memesan melalui platform Shopee,” lanjutnya.

Sebagai langkah antisipasi pemesanan, Eiger akan menutup sementara official account pada Shopee dan TikTok Shop, sampai selesainya memindahkan gudang penyimpanan barang ke lokasi lain.

Api pertama kali diketahui oleh salah satu sekuriti yang bertugas sekitar pukul 03.45 WIB. Kemudian saksi membuka gembok ruangan ASM (ruangan tempat barang Klem).

“Luas sekitar 400 m2. Ruangan yang terbakar dan berdekatan dengan ruangan pengemasan produk,” kata Humas Polsek Cimanggis Iptu Nanang.

Saksi mencoba melakukan pemadaman dengan Apar. Pemadaman dibantu oleh karyawan di bagian packing ruangan Eiger sekitar 12 orang.

“Sambil mencoba pemadaman lanjut menghubungi Damkar UPT Cimanggis,” ucapnya.(*)
