1.700 PKL di Sepanjang Jalan Malioboro Bakal Digusur Gubernur Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono

YOGYAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Pedagang kaki lima (PKL) di sepanjang Jalan Malioboro tetap akan digusur Gubernur Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono pekan ini. Penggusuran ini merupakan bagian kebijakan relokasi oleh Pemda DIY bersama Pemkot Yogyakarta.

“Ya jadi, ya (relokasi tetap jalan). Aku wes ngenteni 18 tahun le pindah, dadi ora mung mundur 3 tahun (Saya sudah nunggu 18 tahun untuk pindah, jadi enggak cuma mundur 3 tahun),” kata Sultan di Kompleks Kepatihan, Kota Yogyakarta, Selasa (25/1/2022), dikutip dari Radartegal, Rabu (26/1/2022).

Sultan menyampaikan Pemerintah daerah sudah bersabar menanti relokasi para pedagang ini, namun tidak kunjung dilakukan. Ia menegaskan lahan yang dipakai bukanlah fasilitas untuk berjualan.

“Karena tempat itu bukan milik dia, (tapi) milik toko sama milik pemerintah. Bukan untuk fasilitas kaki lima,” katanya.

“Saiki iso (sekarang bisa), kenapa besok?” ujar Sultan.

Seluruh PKL di kawasan Malioboro bakal direlokasi pekan terakhir Januari nanti. Terdata sekitar 1.700 PKL yang bakal dipindah ke dua lokasi berbeda, yakni bekas Gedung Bioskop Indra, Ngupasan, Gondomanan dan satu lahan bersifat sementara di bekas Kantor Gedung Dinas Pariwisata DIY.

Sementara itu, anggota Komisi B DPRD Kota Yogyakarta, Foki Ardiyanto menyebut PKL Malioboro meminta agar relokasi diundur hingga setelah Lebaran. Foki merupakan ketua Panitia Khusus (Pansus) Relokasi PKL Malioboro.

“Tuntutan kawan-kawan PKL itu kan tidak muluk-muluk. Hanya ingin itu (relokasi) ditunda saja setelah lebaran,” kata Foki di kantornya, Senin (24/1/2022) lalu. (*)
