JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Sejumlah platform media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, hingga Twitter dianggap telah memberlakukan kebijakan berat sebelah dalam menanggapi isu Palestina dan Israel.
Facebook sendiri memicu kegeraman warganet karena dianggap telah membatasi penyebaran konten terkait serangan Israel ke Palestina, khususnya pandangan pro-Palestina. Konten-konten tersebut dianggap telah melanggar aturan.
Hal itu membuat warganet di seluruh penjuru dunia marah, menganggap Facebook menghalangi kebebasan berpendapat, Alhasil mereka ramai-ramai melakukan kampanye untuk menyudutkan Facebook dengan memberikan rating bintang satu di toko aplikasi Google Play Store.
Sebelum mendapatkan gempuran dari warganet, rating Facebook di Play Store 4,2, kemudian turun menjadi 3,7.
Hingga Selasa sore (18/5), rating Facebook berada di posisi bintang tiga, dengan total yang mengulas sebanyak 113.676.210 akun.
“Tidak bersikap netral dan menyembunyikan kebenaran. Membiarkan penjahat dunia melakukan pembunuhan dan penjajahan. Facebook tidak layak mendapatkan bintang 5 dan tidak patut untuk dunia,” ujar akun bernama Iyep Jalaludin dalam komentarnya yang mendapatkan 1.818 suka.
“Facebook belakangan ini menjadi corong golongan tertentu dan tidak adil. Terbukti berita-berita mengenai Palestina langsung disaring ketat dan akun yang memberitakan auto blokir. Facebook membatasi kemerdekaan informasi dan kemerdekaan berpendapat,” kata akun lainnya, Jan’s SeeNew Lingga dengan 2.651 suka.
“Apakah karena salah satu pendirinya/pemiliknya atau negara asal aplikasi ini pro Israel atau dapat kucuran dana yg besar dari pengusaha-pengusaha pro Israel yang membuat postingan-postingan seputar Palestina itu dihapus bahkan sampai akunnya dihapus atau diblokir?” sindir akun Arief Wahyu Prasetyo yang mendapatkan 631 suka.
