JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Viral Presiden Joko Widodo promosi babi panggang, terkait hal itu Menteri Perdagangan Muhammad Lutfi meminta maaf jika pernyataan Presiden menyebabkan kesalahpahaman di tengah masyarakat.

Ia menjelaskan pernyataan Presiden itu disampaikan dalam video rangka peringatan Hari Bangga Buatan Indonesia yang diselenggarakan Kementerian Perdagangan.
Pernyataan Presiden Jokowi juga turut ditujukan untuk mempromosikan kuliner nusantara.
“Jadi sekali lagi, kuliner khas daerah yang disebut Bapak Presiden dalam video tersebut adalah untuk mempromosikan kuliner Nusantara yang memang sangat beragam, tentu kuliner tersebut dikonsumsi dan disukai oleh masyarakat yang beragam pula,” ujar Lutfi.
Namun Kemendag, kata Luthfi, selaku penanggungjawab acara Hari Bangga Buatan Indonesia meminta maaf jika pernyataan Presiden menyebabkan kesalahpahaman di tengah masyarakat.
“Kami memastikan tidak ada maksud apapun dari pernyataan Bapak Presiden, kami meminta maaf sebesar-besarnya jika terjadi kesalahpahaman karena niat kami hanya ingin kita semua bangga dengan produk dalam negeri termasuk kuliner khas daerah, serta menghargai keberagaman bangsa kita,” ujar Mendag.
