Tanggul Jebol, Ratusan Rumah Perum Pondok Gede Banjir Hingga 1 Meter

BEKASI, AKSIKATA.COM – Tanggul Kali Bekasi yang berada di Perumahan Pondok Gede Permai, jebol dan mengakibatkan ratusan rumah warga terendam banjir hingga ketinggian satu meter lebih. Air yang deras membuat petugas kesulitan mengevakuasi warga.

Banjir menggenangi pemukiman warga hingga ketinggian 1 meter lebih. Diprediksi banjir akan terus bertambah tinggi seiring air dari hulu kali Bekasi yakni Kali Cileungsi dan Cikeas masih tinggi .

Petugas dari BPBD mengatakan, air melimpas dari tanggul kali Bekasi yang sebelumnya mengalami longsor, sehingga membuat ketinggian tanggul berkurang 2 meter .

Derasnya arus air membuat petugas Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) dan Tagana Kota Bekasi sempat kesulitan mengevakuasi warga. Untuk mengevakuasi, petugas menggunakan tali tambang yang dibentangkan.

“Kita membantu evakuasi warga yang bersedia dievakuasi, karena ada juga sebagian warga yang tetap bertahan di rumahnya. Mudah-mudahan air tidak bertambah tinggi lagi. Ini kan karena ada tanggul yang jebol, jadi banjirnya lebih dalam, “ ujar Kasi Rehab dan Rekon BPBD Kota Bekasi, Suhendra.

Sejumlah warga yang terdampak banjir telah dievakuasi ke kantor gudang dan logistik milik BNPB yang berada di dekat Perumahan Pondok Gede Permai .(ANTV)
