pelaku pembunuhan terhadap Petra Deswindasari Laia, bocah perempuan berusia 7 tahun, anak Masarudin Laia (38), Kepala Desa Hiliorodua, Lahusa, Nias Selatan.
Sadisnya, setelah membunuh Winda, demikian bocah kecil itu disapa, Ama memasukannya ke dalam karung plastik dan membuangnya di galian parit di atas perbukitan Dusun II, Desa Bawaziono, Kecamatan Lahusa, Kabupaten Nias Selatan. Mayat Winda kemudian ditemukan warga pada Selasa (09/02/2021).
Kapolres Nias Selatan, AKBP Arke Furman Ambat, saat konferensi pers di Mapolres, Kamis (11/02/2021) mengatakan, terungkapnya pembunuhan terhadap Winda ini setelah polisi melakukan olah tempat kejadian (TKP). Kurang lebih 24 jam, Reskrim Polres Nias Selatan pun berhasil menangkap Ama.
Kepada polisi, Ama mengaku perbuatannya. Dia menaruh dendam pribadi terhadap ayah Winda. “Ini lantaran calon kepala desa yang dia dukung, yang tidak lain adalah keponakannya sendiri kalah pada saat pemilihan kepala desa 2019 lalu dengan ayah korban, sehingga imbasnya kepada korban,” kata Kapolres Nias Selatan, Kamis (11/2/2021).
