JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) meresmikan Stasiun Pompa Air Ancol Sentiong, di Jakarta Utara, Senin (11/12/2023). Presiden berharap keberadaan infrastruktur yang dibangun dengan biaya sebesar Rp481 miliar ini dapat mengurangi banjir di tujuh kecamatan di Jakarta.
“Ini adalah stasiun pompa terbesar di Indonesia, paling besar, dan ya menghabiskan anggaran juga sangat besar Rp481 miliar. Kita harapkan ini akan, stasiun pompa ini akan mengurangi banjir yang ada di tujuh kecamatan di DKI Jakarta,” ujar Presiden.
Presiden mengatakan, untuk pengendalian banjir di Jakarta, di sisi hulu pemerintah telah menyelesaikan pembangunan dua bendungan yaitu Bendungan Ciawi dan Bendungan Sukamahi. Selain itu, pemerintah juga telah menyelesaikan pembangunan sodetan Ciliwung yang akan mengalirkan air dari sungai Ciliwung ke Banjir Kanal Timur.
“Juga meneruskan lagi normalisasi Sungai Ciliwung yang tinggal kurang lebih 17 kilometer. Kemudian, pada hari ini telah selesai Stasiun Pompa Air Sentiong di Ancol yang menelan biaya Rp481 miliar. Kita harapkan dengan selesainya tadi di hulu, di tengah, di hilir, di Sentiong ini kita harapkan banjir di Jakarta bisa berkurang kurang lebih 62 persen,” tandasnya.
Usai memberikan sambutan, Presiden melakukan penekanan tombol dan menandatangani prasasti sebagai tanda peresmian.
Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam acara ini, antara lain, Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, Sekretariat Kabinet (Seskab) Pramono Anung, Pj Gubernur DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono. (setkab)
