BEKASI, AKSIKATA.COM – Di tengah persawahan, di Kampung Gubuk RT 1/RW 2 Desa Sukawijaya, Kecamatan Tambelang, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat berdiri peralatan ekplorasi milik PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Regional Jawa Subholding Upstream Pertamina.
Di tengah-tengah sawah itu diidentifikasi sebagai titik sumber minyak dan gas (migas) baru. Di sanalah pengeboran eksplorasi yang diberi nama sumur East Pondok Aren (EPN)-001 di wilayah kerja PEP Tambun Fild dikerjakan.
Cadangan migas itu ditemukan setelah pihak Pertamina melakukan pengeboran sumur eksplorasi EPN-001 pada 18 Agustus 2023 dengan menyasar target reservoir Carbonate Formasi Lower Cibulakan.
Pengeboran tersebut berhasil mengalirkan minyak dan gas pada DST kedua dengan rate minyak sebesar 402 bopd dan rate gas mencapai 1,09 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) di kedalaman 2.590 kedalaman terukur (mMD).
Direktur Utama PT Pertamina EP Wisnu Hindadari menyampaikan perusahaan secara konsisten mendorong eksplorasi di wilayah kerjanya untuk memastikan Reserve to Production Ratio di Regional Jawa tetap terjaga hingga tahun-tahun mendatang.
“EPN-001 adalah sumur eksplorasi yang dapat menguatkan optimisme pencarian sumber daya baru di area yang tergolong mature untuk berkontribusi dalam menjaga produksi minyak dan gas bumi dalam beberapa waktu ke depan,” kata Wisnu.

“Sawah memang kebetulan garapan saya itu kena pas lubang sumurnya pisan, pas garapan saya tanaman padi,” ucapnya dilansir dari Apahabar.
Potensi migas di atas lahan sawahnya telah menjadi objek penelitian Pertamina selama sekitar 10 tahun terakhir. Saat itu, lahan miliknya digunakan untuk uji coba dengan menggunakan dinamit guna mengecek kandungan migas di dalam tanah.
Masdi mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya memperoleh uang Rp1,1 miliar dari penjualan lahan sawah seluas 5.000 meter persegi dengan harga Rp230 ribu per meter.
