Presiden Akan Tindak Tegas Dugaan TPPO Terkait Pengungsi Rohingya

JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengungkapkan adanya dugaan kuat tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) terkait semakin banyaknya pengungsi Rohingya yang masuk ke Indonesia, terutama ke Aceh.

“Saya memperoleh laporan mengenai pengungsi Rohingya yang semakin banyak, yang masuk ke wilayah Indonesia, terutama Provinsi Aceh. Terdapat dugaan kuat ada keterlibatan jaringan tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) dalam arus pengungsian ini,” ujar Presiden.

Presiden menegaskan bahwa pemerintah akan menindak tegas pelaku TPPO terkait masuknya pengungsi Rohingya ini.

“Pemerintah Indonesia akan menindak tegas pelaku TPPO,” tegasnya.

Lebih lanjut Presiden mengatakan bahwa pemerintah akan memberikan bantuan sementara bagi pengungsi Rohingya dengan tetap mengutamakan kepentingan masyarakat lokal. Selain itu, Pemerintah Indonesia juga akan terus berkoordinasi dengan organisasi internasional untuk menangani masalah pengungsi Rohingya ini.

“Bantuan kemanusiaan sementara kepada pengungsi akan diberikan dengan mengutamakan kepentingan masyarakat lokal,” tandasnya.

Turut mendampingi Presiden saat keterangan pers yaitu Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Pratikno dan Sekretaris Kabinet (Seskab) Pramono Anung.
