JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Bareskrim Polri bakal memeriksa pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al-Zaytun, sebagai tersangka dalam kasus kasus dugaan tindak pidana pencucian uang (TPPU) pada hari ini, Kamis (9/11/2023).
Dirtipideksus Polri, Brigjen Whisnu Hermawan mengatakan, pemeriksaan rencananya akan dilakukan di Lapas Indramayu. Mengingat Panji kini berstatus sebagai tahanan Kejaksaan Indramayu terkait perkara penistaan agama.
“(Pemeriksaan Panji Gumilang sebagai tersangka TPPU) di Lapas Indramayu,” kata Whisnu saat dikonfirmasi, Kamis (9/11/2023).
Terpisah, Kasubdit TPPU Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri, Kombes Robertus De Deo mengatakan, penyidik akan mencecar Panji soal aliran dana hasil kejahatannya.
“Pemeriksaan terkait aliran dana, perolehan, pemanfaatan, dan penguasaan aset yang diperoleh dari hasil kejahatan,” beber De Deo.
Selain itu penyidik juga akan memintai keterangan pada sejumlah saksi lainnya terkait perkara ini. Namun dia belum merinci identitas para saksi tersebut.
“Ada beberapa saksi yang akan dimintai keterangan. Ada yang di Indramayu, ada yang di Bareskrim,” katanya.
Dalam perkara ini, Panji Gumilang disebut pernah mengajukan peminjaman sebesar Rp 73 miliar ke Bank J-Trust atas nama yayasan yang dikelolanya. Namun, uang tersebut malahan digunakan Panji untuk kepentingan pribadinya.
Atas perbuatannya, Panji dijerat Pasal 372 KUHP dan atau Pasal 70 Juncto Pasal 5 UU Nomor 28 Tahun 2004 dan atau Pasal 3, Pasal 4, dan Pasal 5 Juncto Pasal 10 UU Nomor 8 Tahun 2010 Tentang TPPU dengan ancaman maksimal 20 tahun penjara.
