JAKARTA, AKSI KATA.COM – Kementerian Perhubungan (Kemenhub) kembali menggelar program mudik Motis (Motor Gratis) untuk mendukung Angkutan Lebaran 2023.
Direktur Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Kereta Api, Djarot Tri Wardhono dalam acara Ngobras “Ngobrol Santai Bareng Komunitas” yang diselenggarakan di Kantor Pusat Kementerian Perhubungan, Jakarta pada Senin (20/2) mengungkapkan, sebagai program rutin tahunan Direktorat Jenderal Perkeretaapian (DJKA), Motis 2023 ditargetkan akan dapat melayani lebih dari 40 ribu penumpang.
“Tahun ini kami akan siapkan sebanyak 10.440 slot motor yang secara gratis dikirimkan ke lokasi tujuan mudik penumpang pada Lebaran mendatang, terlebih di tahun ini kami sediakan kapasitas Motis yang jauh lebih banyak daripada tahun lalu, karena kondisi Covid-19 saat ini sudah jauh lebih kondusif, ” ungkap Djarot.
Djarot juga menjelaskan, respons dan animo masyarakat akan diselenggarakannya program Motis setiap tahunnya menunjukan trend peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. “Sejak awal diluncurkan pada 2013, minat masyarakat akan penyelenggaran Motis oleh pemerintah cukup tinggi, tercatat pada tahun 2019 sebanyak 19 ribu lebih unit sepeda motor telah berhasil difasilitasi pengirimannya secara gratis oleh DJKA,” tambah Djarot.
Mudik Naik Kereta Cukup Bayar 10 – 20 Ribu Saja
Dibandingkan tahun lalu, kapasitas penumpang dan unit sepeda motor yang disediakan pelayanannya pada Motis tahun ini jauh lebih banyak dari realisasi 2.900-an unit sepeda motor yang telah difasilitasi pada Motis 2022.
Tahun ini DJKA menargetkan sebanyak 46.720 penumpang akan diberangkatkan dalam program tahunan ini. Motis 2023 akan melayani tiga lintas pelayanan yaitu; Lintas Utara dengan rute Cilegon – Jakarta Gudang – Semarang Tawang, Lintas Tengah dengan rute Jakarta Gudang – Purwosari dan Lintas Selatan dengan rute Kiraracondong – Purwosari.
“Dengan tiga lintas pelayanan angkutan motis di tahun ini, diharapkan perjalanan mudik masyarakat lebih terakomodir dengan baik, momen ini sekaligus mengajak masyarakat agar dapat mudik dengan aman, nyaman, dan selamat. Karena, melihat data-data periode lebaran sebelumnya, tingkat kecelakaan kendaraan roda dua selama periode mudik cukup tinggi, sehingga dengan adanya program motis ini, lakalantas roda dua dapat diminimalisir,” paparnya.
Selain itu, untuk mengoptimalkan keselamatan dan kenyamanan penyelenggaraan motis di tahun ini, DJKA juga akan mengintegrasikan angkutan Motis dengan pelayanan KA PSO di mana peserta program Motis akan mudik bersama kendaraan motornya dengan tarif yang sangat terjangkau. ” Cukup membayar tarif mulai 10 ribu hingga 20 ribu rupiah saja peserta Motis dapat mudik ke kampung halamannya,” pungkas Djarot
Sebagai informasi, pendaftaran program motis 2023 akan dimulai pada tanggal 1 Maret – 3 Mei 2023, sementara angkutan mudik Motis akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 11 – 20 April dan angkutan balik dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 April – 4 Mei 2023.
