JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Indonesi akan ikut lagi di ajang perhelatan World Youth Cup Gothia Cup 2023 di Swedia bulan Juli mendatang. Untuk mempersiapkan hal itu, serangkaian acara digelar oleh Program Bangga Merah Putih Mendunia (Barati Mendunia).
Antara lain, ada 525 pemain dari 110 tim usia 10 s/d 13 tahun yang akan mengikuti Fun Skill Challenges di event Tays Bakers Barati Grassroot Football Fest 2023. Kegiatan ini merupakan kick off event dari rangkaian program Tays Bakers Barati Road to Gothia Cup 2023.
Barati Mendunia adalah program inkubator talenta muda sepakbola dengan spirit nasionalisme yang bertujuan menciptakan wadah tempaan talenta pesepakbola usia dini yang profesional, menyenangkan dan aman.
CEO Tays Bakers, Alexander Anwar menyatakan event ini merupakan hal yang sangat positif karena tidak hanya melatih fisik dan mental anak namun juga akan membentuk karakter yang kuat dan semangat juang tinggi. “Kami sangat bangga dapat mendukung program ini dan berharap acaranyaakan berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses,” katanya.
Dalam kesempatan terpisah, CEO Barati Mendunia, Krisna Wisnu Marsis mengatakan di event ini
pemain akan bermain sambil berkompetisi dengan sistem poin di 8 wahana dengan konsep fun light game football.
“Dunia Grassroot itu harusnya identik dengan kegembiraan, dengan event kami inginmemberi pesan kepada semua stakeholder sepakbola grassroot untuk tidak melupakan hal tersebut dalam pembinaan sepakbola di sekolah sepakbola masing- masing,” imbuh Krisna.
Selain Fun Skill Challenges, akan ada acara Meet & Greet dengan para pemain timnas U16, salah satunya Iqbal Gwijangge yang merupakan kapten Timnas U16.
Selanjutnya Krisna juga menambahkan bahwa puncak dari rangkaian program Tays Bakers Road to Gothia Cup 2023 adalah keikutsertaan tim Tays Bakers Barati pada perhelatan World Youth Cup Gothia Cup 2023 di Swedia bulan Juli mendatang. Pemain yang berangkat akan diseleksi oleh Coach Indra Sjafri saat Turnamen Tays Bakers Barati Cup di Bali tanggal 16-18 Februari 2023.
“Rencananya kami akan berangkatkan 2 tim ke Swedia untuk usia 12 dan 13 tahun, yang diambil dari 64 tim peserta dari 14 propinsi yang ikut turnamen di Bali nanti,” tandasnya.
Direktur Teknik PSSI, Indra Sjafri pun diminta menjadi talent scouting dalam program Tays Bakers Barati Road to Gothia Cup 2023.
Indra Sjafri akan melihat kualitas pemain dalam turnamen Tays Bakers Barati Cup yang diikuti 64 tim di Bali tanggal 16-18 Februari 2023.
Dalam turnamen tersebut , Indra Sjafri dan tim memilih pemain yang masuk tim U-12 dan U-14.
