Sementara itu, Dokter Spesialis Kulit, dr. Nadia Wirantari, SpKK menjelaskan bahwa setiap luka perlu dirawat dan membutuhkan kelembaban untuk mempercepat proses penyembuhannya. Penyembuhan luka merupakan proses yang alami, ada fase dan waktu yang dibutuhkan tubuh dari fase penghentian perdarahan, peradangan, kemudian tumbuh jaringan baru (jaringan granulasi), jaringan epitel baru, kemudian luka menjadi matur, dan terjadi proses re-modeling bekas luka (bisa sampai 1-2 tahun).

“Dalam perawatan luka sendiri harus dijaga bersih dan lembap. Dibantu dengan nutrisi yang baik agar pemulihan cepat dan dapat menggunakan Plester bekas luka untuk memperbaiki tampilan bekasnya. Plester bekas luka yang digunakan harus sesuai peruntukannya dengan keadaan luka, menempel dengan baik, nyaman dipakai, dan tidak menyebabkan iritasi/alergi,” terangnya.
