Bersamaan dengan digelarnya parade TNI AU dalam rangka HUT TNI ke-76 pada tanggal 5 Oktober 2021, Komunitas Fotografer Aviasi Indonesia (KFAI) mendapat kehormatan bersilaturahmi ke markas Skadron Udara 31 yang diterima langsung oleh Komandan Skadron 31 Letkol (Pnb) Yulius Marvien Aryaka, M.Sc di Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma Jakarta.
Skadron Udara 31 adalah rumah bagi pesawat angkut Lockheed C-130 Hercules yang lebih popular disebut “Herky” atau “Rajawali” sesuai kode panggil radionya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Marvien, sangat antusias menyambut kehadiran KFAI sebagai komunitas pecinta aviasi yang berbadan hukum ini.
Ia berharap kehadiran komunitas ini bisa menjembatani antara TNI AU dengan masyarakat khususnya terkait informasi dan edukasi kedirgantaraan di Indonesia.
Sementara itu, Ketua KFAI, Theodorus Aji Baruno mengatakan, KFAI akan selalu dan terus menjalin hubungan baik dengan stakeholder aviasi di Indonesia .
Menurut Aji, masih banyak pihak yang belum familiar dengan aktivitas fotografi aviasi, sehingga masih cukup banyak yang berfikir negatif pada hobi ini dan terkadang dianggap kegiatan yang membahayakan aktivitas penerbangan.
Diharapkan, dengan semakin baik hubungan yang dijalin dengan semua stakeholder, khususnya TNI AU menjadikan angin segar bagi para pecinta fotografi aviasi ini untuk lebih baik lagi berkarya.
