Ni Nengah Widiasih berhasil meraih perak dengan angkatan 98kg. Sedangkan medali emas diperoleh oleh atlet Cina Guo Lingling dengan raihan 108kg dan perak oleh atlet Venezuela Clara Fuentes Monasterio dengan angkatan 97kg.
Medali ini adalah medali kedua yang dipersembahkan Widiasih untuk kontingen Merah Putih. Sebelumnya, di ajang Paralimpiade Rio de Janeiro 2016, Widiasih menjadi wakil Indonesia satu-satunya yang menyumbangkan medali setelah meraih perunggu di nomor 41kg putri dengan angkatan 95kg.
Kala itu, medali emas diraih wakil Turki Nazmiye Muratli dengan 104kg dan perak disabet oleh Zhe Chui dari Cina dengan 102kg.
