JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Deputi Pemberantasan Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Irjen Pol (Purn) Arman Depari menyebut selama masa pandemi Covid-19 yang telah terjadi hampir satu tahun ini, belum ditemukannya trend penurunan dari peredaran narkoba. Bahkan, dirinya mengklaim adanya peningkatan.
“Kita lihat perkembangan peredaran gelap dan penyalahgunaan di Indonesia, terutama pada saat adanya Pandemi Covid-19 yang sudah berlangsung satu tahun ini, pada kenyataannya kita melihat belum adanya penurunan. Kita melihat tren perkembangan yang meningkat,” kata Arman di kantornya, Cawang, Jakarta Timur, Rabu (24/2/2021).
Secara spesifik, kata Arman, peningkatan terjadi untuk kategori penyelundupan. Menurutnya, berdasarkan data rekapitulasi BNN per Februari 2021, BNN telah menyita berbagai jenis narkoba mulai dari sabu hingga ganja seberat satu ton.
“Terutama tentang kejadian-kejadian penyelundupan narkoba yang berhasil kita gagalkan, dimana sampai ini bulan Februari 2021 sudah lebih dari satu ton narkotika jenis sabu, yang disita oleh BNN. Demikian juga narkotika golongan satu jenis ganja ya yang cukup banyak,” tuturnya.
Lebih jauh dia memaparkan, jumlah satu ton tersebut masih bisa bertambah banyak. Hal itu dikarenakan, belum digabungkan dengan data yang dimiliki oleh Bea Cukai maupun aparat kepolisian.
“Ini baru dilakukan penyitaan oleh Badan Narkotika Nasional, belum kita jumlah totalkan dengan hasil sitaan oleh Bea Cukai, dan kepolisian terutama,” ungkapnya.
