BEKASI, AKSIKATA.COM – Pangdam Jaya Mayjen TNI Dudung Abdurachman dan Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Pol Fadil Imran mengecek langsung salah satu titik banjir terparah di Kabupaten Bekasi.
Banjir akibat jebolnya tanggul Sungai Citarum mengakibatkan ratusan rumah terendam banjir di empat desa. Di lokasi, kedua pimpinan juga ikut mengevakuasi warga setempat.
Menurut Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus, saat ini Kapolda Metro masih berada di lokasi titik banjir untuk mengecek keadaan.
“Saat ini Kapolda, Pangdam sama Bupati masih di TKP langsung di tempat jebolnya,” kata Kombes Yusri dalam keterangan tertulisnya kepada wartawan, Minggu (21/2).
Menurut Kombes Yusri, ketinggian air di lokasi masih cukup dalam.
“Saat ini masih proses evakuasi. Kapolda, Pangdam juga masih mengecek langsung dan air diperkirakan ketinggian sampai satu atau dua meter,” kata Yusri.
Puluhan perahu karet pun diterjunkan oleh berbagai pihak termasuk Polda Metro Jaya. Perahu tersebut digunakan untuk mengevakuasi warga yang masih berada di rumahnya masing-masing.
“Masyarakat membutuhkan kendaraan-kendaraan, sementara kita siapkan perahu karet dari Kodam, Polda, Tim Sar. Semua siaga perahu karet untuk evakuasi empat desa tersebur,” kata Yusri.
Tanggul Sungai Citarum, Kampung Babakan Banten, Kabupaten Bekasi dikabarkan jebol Minggu malam. Imbas dari jebolnya tanggul tersebut merendam rumah warga yang tersebar di empat desa. (eddy)
