JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM  — Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia Banking School (STIE – IBS) Jakarta menggelar webinar bertajuk “Evolving Landscape of Fintech Lending in Indonesia”, Jumat 18 Desember 2020. Hadir sebagai pembicara Reynold Wijaya, Ketua Klaster Pendanaan Produktif Asosiasi Fintech Pendanaan Bersama Indonesia (AFPI) dengan mederator Dr. Nuri Wulandari, S.E., M. Sc., Wakil Ketua III IBS.

Dalam webinar kali ini menyoroti perkembangan Financial Technology (Fintech) yang jumlah penyelenggaranya hingga 5 November 2020 peer-to-peer lending atau fintech lending yang terdaftar dan berizin di OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) sebanyak 154 perusahaan. Jumlah itu termasuk besar, di mana kehadiran Fintech membawa inovasi dan perubahan pada industri keuangan dan perbankan dengan meningkatkan inklusi keuangan.

“Penerimaan positif terlihat pada meningkatnya angka penyaluran pinjaman. Data OJK pada Oktober 2020 akumulasi penyaluran pinjaman nasional Okttober 2020: Rp137,66 triliun (naik 102,44% yoy) dimana angka partisipasi datang dari generasi muda 66% berusia 19 sd 34 tahun baik sebagai peminjam maupun pemberi pinjaman,” jelas Ketua STIE-IBS Dr. Kusumaningtuti Sandriharmy Soetiono. “Kehadiran Fintech ini telah meningkatkan inklusi keuang kelompok milenial, terutama usia 35 tahun yang merupakan cakupan terbesar di Indonesia,” sambungnya.

Di masa pandemi seperti saat ini, kata Kusumaningtuti, berbagai tantangan mewarnai dinamika Fintech. Mulai dari pergeseran perilaku konsumen sampai dengan penurunan di yang terjadi di usaha kecil dan menengah. Sektor UKM menjadi sektor yang paling terdampak, karena ketiadaan kegiatan di luar rumah oleh sebagian besar masyarakat, kenaikan harga barang dan penghasilan yang menurun.

Mayoritas pendanaan dari pemain financial technology menyasar ke segmen ini untuk usaha produktif dalam perekonomian, mulai pertanian, manukfaktur dan jasa. “Di sisi lain, pergeseran perilaku konsumen ke aktivitas digital menjadi kesempatan untuk industri keuangan digital, dimana riset IBS membuktikan bahwa kegiatan perbankan adalah kegiatan tertinggi ke 2, selain pendidikan, dimana 40% aktivitas konsumen bergeser ke hampir 100 persen digital,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Reynold menyebutkan kondisi fintech saat ini per oktober 2020, mencapai pengguna transaksi lender sebesar 698 ribu, dengan jumlah borrower sebesar 39 juta. “Yang menarik di sini adalah penyalurannya yang begitu cepat. Ada sebesar Rp137,66 triliun pinjaman yang telah terdistribusi ke pengguna. Walaupun dalam masa pandemi, namun disalurkan dengan begitu baik,” kata Reynold, yang juga dikenal sebagai CEO Modalku.

Bisa dibilang, angka Rp137,66 triliun merupakan angka yang cukup besar, namun faktanya, menurut Reynold, itu angka yang belum ada apa-apanya dibandingkan dengan kebutuhan yang ada di Indonesia. “Ini benar-benar baru mulai, angka yang belum ada apa-apanya. Karena kita baru mulai, biasanya ada up down-nya, banyak gangguannya yang tidak bisa kita prediksi. Namun bila ini semakin matang gangguan akan mulai hilang, dipercaya OJK, masyarakat dan regulator, sehingga kita bis amenghasilkan yang baik untuk Indonesia,” jelasnya.

Menurut Reynold, industri fintech lending untuk berinovasi melalui akses pembiayaan kepada masyarakat dan pelaku UMKM. Peluang pertumbuhan fintech cukup besar, karena masih ada 6,6 Juta UMKM dan 132 juta individu yang belum memiliki akses kepada kredit. Karena itu, seiring semakin maraknya digitalisasi, kolaboransi antara perbankan dan fintech akan semakin terbuka lebar.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, sebanyak 30 mahasiswa menerima beasiswa pendidikan dari OJK. Bantuan tersebut diberikan kepada mahasiswa yang terdampak akibat pandemi Covid 19. “Terima kasih kami ucapkan kepada OJK yang berpartisipasi memberikan bantuan pendidikan. Semoga bantuan ini kami harapkan dapat membantu orang tua dan mahasiswa, karena pandemi masih berlangsung sampai saat ini di Indonesia,” papar Kusumaningtuti.
