Kami mohon doa dari masyarakat, semoga prosesnya berjalan lancar serta Menag bisa lekas sembuh, semoga hasil swab berikutnya negatif, sehingga Menag dapat menjalankan tugas-tugasnya kembali,” ujar Kevin dalam siaran pers, Senin (21/9/2020).
sementara itu Juru Bicara (Jubir) Kementerian Agama, Oman Fathurahman menambahkan, Menag sementara ini akan fokus menjalani proses isolasi dan pemulihan kesehatan. Untuk pelaksanaan tugas birokrasi, Menag sudah mengkoordinasikan dan sekaligus mendelegasikannya kepada Wakil Menteri Agama, serta memberi arahan kepada para pejabat terkait.
“Pelaksanaan program Kemenag, utamanya dalam ikut mencegah penyebaran Covid-19 di lembaga pendidikan agama dan keagamaan serta lembaga keagamaan menjadi perhatian Menag. Beliau minta agar itu berjalan dengan baik. Bantuan yang disalurkan juga agar tepat sasaran dan akuntabel,” ujar Oman menyampaikan pesan Menag.
“Menag minta agar program-program dan layanan keagamaan tetap berjalan. Koordinasi akan tetap dilakukan melalui daring,” lanjutnya.
Menurut Oman, Menag juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk mematuhi anjuran pemerintah dengan disiplin dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan. “Siapapun bisa terkena Covid-19 ini, tidak ada kecuali, mari kita saling berempati, saling menguatkan, dan berikhtiar dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan. Semoga pandemi ini bisa segera teratasi,” tutup Oman.
