JAKARTA, AKSIKATA.COM – Kabar duka datang dunia hiburan di tanah air kita. Omaswati atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Omas meninggal dunia, hari ini, Kamis (16/7/2020). Omas meninggal di usia 54 tahun.
Manajer Mandra, Nani membenarkan kabar duka itu. Omas yang merupakan adik kandung pelawak senior Mandra. Mastur, adik Mandra yang lain juga mengabari kepergian Omas.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rooji’uun telah berpulang ke Rahmatullah Hj Omas, semoga amal ibadahnya diterima Allah SWT, Aamìin Ya Rabbana,” demikian bunyi pesan yang beredar di grup whatssapp.
Omas mengawali kariernya di dunia kesenian Lenong Betawi. Dia juga kerap wara-wiri di televisi. Dia banyak membintangi berbagai serial seperti Cinta Fitri, Anak-Anak Manusia, dan lainnya.
Belum diketahui apa yang menjadi penyebab meninggalnya Omas. Omas meninggalkan tiga anak, yakni Muhammad Rizky Dioambiah, Dinda Olivia, dan Dimas Aji Septian.
