Minimal kemacetan terkurangi pada jam sibuk,” kata Kombes Pol Arman Achdiat, Rabu (8/7/2020), kemarin malam.

Menurut Arman, kemacetan karena perbaikan jalan mustahil dihindari. Yang bisa dilakukan adalah mengurangi dampaknya dengan menggunakan manajemen waktu.

Untuk meminimalkan risiko macet akibat pengerjaan pipa Pertamina, sudah diatur dan disepakati bersama pengerjaannya di luar jam sibuk terutama di luar jam berangkat dan pulang kerja. Pelaksanaannya difokuskan malam hari, sebuah pilihan yang paling mungkin dilakukan.

Keberadaan petugas di titik kemacetan merupakan prosedur standar. Karenanya para pelaksana proyek dibantu polisi bekerjasama menekan potensi kemacetan supaya tidak lebih parah lagi.

Arman juga berharap, institusi yang mengelola media sosial official memanfaatkan medsos untuk mensosialisasikan kondisi ruas jalan dari waktu ke waktu memberitahu warga dari luar daerah yang akan melintasi ruas Semarang – Demak, sehingga lebih siap secara psikologis, fisik dan memiliki waktu yang longgar untuk menyesuaikan diri.
